We can be one of two things in our life, the victim, or the creator. We all have both parts, but who is running your show? As Ghandi said, “Be the change you wish to see in the world.” Do you desire a trustworthy partner, yet do not trust your word when you say you are going to exercise every morning? Do you expect strong leadership from your countries’ officials yet are not being responsible to the basic tasks of the life you envision? Do you keep your promises to yourself? Do you desire a beautiful lover yet hide under the sheets when you secretly touch yourself?
Bitches don’t blame, they live by example.
An exercise that will open your mind and get your power lined up, is to get out a piece of paper and make a list of all the things you desire in a relationship, partnership and or friendship (sexual, intellectual, emotional and spiritual-what are your values?) Then, ask what you ideally expect of your employer, employees and your government. What do you feel the role of your doctor is, or the health care system? Take the time needed to really give yourself to this process.
When you feel complete, ask yourself, What qualities on this list do “I” possess?
